THEN and now

The story of Plexed Customs can be traced back to the hours spent in the family’s atelier, where images were transformed into final pieces and raw materials into art. The captivating karate films of childhood inspired the sewing of kimonos from parents’ bedsheets and reimagining costumes and accessories for beloved characters from adventure stories. Over time, an appreciation for music, culture, and 1960s cinema flourished, and today, Plexed Customs is a genuine reflection of its creator’s inner world — a celebration of childhood memories, family traditions, and a love for the arts.

That spirit lives on in the way we source, select, and construct each piece.

We take a meticulous approach to fabric selection, sourcing rich textures, intricate weaves, and rare deadstock from some of the finest mills in the world. We work exclusively with fully natural fabrics—wool, cotton, linen, and silk—valuing their depth, durability, and the way they evolve over time. Raw, living textures and complex structures define our collections.

The same philosophy guides our production. Each garment is cut and sewn by a single master tailor, ensuring precision and consistency at every stage. No mass production, no assembly lines—just a commitment to authentic craftsmanship and creating pieces built to last.
